Grandpa's Birthday

(This entry is long overdue..)

We celebrated Dad's Birthday on 8/20 by taking him to Captain Pell. It was really great! Crabs were fresh and cheaper than Michaels (see previous post). Service is good too! We should have gone there in the first place instead of venture out to MD. This is located right in FFX, near Fairfax High School.

Weekend hunting for Crabs

After about an hour drive (because we were sort of lost -- long story) we finally arrived @ Mike's Restaurant & Crab House in Riva, MD. We had 2 dozens of Crabs, a dozen of Steamed Oysters, and a dozen of Cherrystone Clams. The first dozen of Crabs was a bit of disappointment because it came out cold. The second dozen was better - steamy hot and fresh! The Oysters were cooked just right but Cherrystone seem a bit over cooked.
